The IT industry, in the 1990s, has just started to establish itself as an indispensable business tool of the future,particularly in this region and more so in our country,The Kingdom of Bahrain and thus in 1997 the National Institute of Technology saw its birth.We had a clear vision,to address the enormous possibilities and the opportunities in this revolutionizing young industry and suitably create qualified IT professionals who would match with the best in the rest of the world.

With Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 being unveiled, NIT took it upon itself the responsibility of supporting that vision by having the leading IT companies of the world on board as certifying and accrediting bodies as our channel partners.And from then on NIT continues to offer a wide range of courses in the fields of IT, Business, English and Employability Skills. NIT has joined hands with well-known global training, certifying and testing organizations, such as Oracle, ITIL, Cobit5, Digital Marketing, ISACA, CertNexus, Project Management Institute, Logical Operations, IT Entrepreneurs, International Business Skills, IBTA and many more.

All our trainers are bilingual which helps them to deliver the trainings in English and Arabic without diluting the English instructions or the Arabic flavour.This has helped us to reach our primary targeted groups,i.e.Arabic speaking locals.In our nascent days,IT was just entering the GCC and our training courses managed to make good inroads with good results and reports.
