Islamic University of Madinah

It was established by Royal Decree No. 11 dated 3/25/1381 AH, followed by Royal Decree No. 21 dated 4/16/1381 AH approving the system of the university’s Supreme Advisory Council. Studies began on Sunday, Jumada al-Akhirah 2, in the same year.

On 5/18/1386 AH, Royal Decree No. M/18 was issued approving the university system. Then another system for the university was issued; in accordance with Royal Decree No. M/70 dated 8/7/1395 AH.
