Opened in 2011, the Collège Français Bilingue de Londres welcomes 700 students aged 3 to 15, from the first year of nursery school to Year 9.

With a community of more than 60 different nationalities , the CFBL places tolerance and openness to others at the heart of its educational project.

Located in the heart of the British capital in the Camden district , the Collège Français Bilingue de Londres gives its students access to excellent teaching through enhanced language learning and the dissemination of digital culture.

In a warm environment, our students discover the joy of learning in a spirit of respect and trust based on listening and ongoing dialogue with the teaching and educational teams.

Encouraged to exchange, create and take initiatives in a multicultural environment , our students acquire, in addition to academic knowledge, human and relational qualities which will guide them throughout their years of study and even beyond.

At the end of their studies, students continue their education in a French high school in London (mainly the Lycée International Winston Churchill but also the Lycée Charles de Gaulle) or another establishment in France or abroad, while some move on to the English education system.

Our mission
The CFBL aims to transmit to its students the best of French and English school culture and to prepare them for today’s world by offering them a bilingual and multicultural education.

We aim in particular to:

encourage academic excellence by following the programs of the Ministry of National Education and setting the objective of exceeding the expectations thus formulated as often as possible,

provide advice and assistance to students and their families to help them achieve the best possible academic path,

promote the personal development of students by offering them as wide a spectrum as possible of collective and individual activities in the artistic, cultural and sporting fields; promote extracurricular activities to this end,

help students prepare for admission to French secondary education or a transition to an English-speaking school system,

teach students to respect the richness and diversity of the cultures they are lucky enough to encounter at CFBL and beyond; to respect all the adults, teachers and non-teaching staff, and management, who bring the CFBL educational project to life.

Educational project
Student development is at the heart of the CFBL’s educational project.
On a human scale , the CFBL transmits to its students the best of French and English school cultures while at the same time attaching particular importance to their well-being, their personal development and teamwork.
The CFBL’s bilingual and bicultural project allows for the implementation of the teaching of other languages and the discovery of other cultures.
Fully in the 21st century and welcoming children of the internet generation, the CFBL must be exemplary in the use of digital resources – tools and content.
Tolerance and openness to other cultures are at the heart of the CFBL’s educational project.
The 3-year school project is subject to validation by the AEFE.

Our premises
The French Bilingual College of London welcomes students in a setting conducive to their daily well-being, in an attractive neighborhood for families.

The Collège Français Bilingue de Londres is housed in listed buildings constructed in 1874 by Edward Robert Robson and fully renovated in 2010. The establishment is equipped with numerous teaching spaces adapted to innovative teaching practices.

Welcoming a maximum of 700 students, the school’s human scale allows each student to develop in a friendly and warm atmosphere conducive to the well-being of all and consequently to learning. Students are in close contact with the entire teaching team and are therefore in constant dialogue with their teachers.

CFBL is located in northwest London in Kentish Town in the popular borough of Camden and bordering three beautiful parks (Hampstead, Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park).

Kentish Town offers a quality environment for families with a dense public transport network and proximity to King’s Cross and St. Pancras International stations.

A large French community has long been established in the borough of Camden (www.lovecamden.org), making it easier for families to integrate.
