Saudi Electronic University

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz – may God have mercy on him – approved, based on Royal Order No. 37409/B dated 10/9/1432 AH, the establishment of the Saudi Electronic University as a governmental educational institution providing higher education and lifelong learning, complementing the system of educational institutions under the umbrella of the Higher Education Council.

The university comprises the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, the College of Computing and Informatics, the College of Health Sciences, and the College of Science and Theoretical Studies. The university awards bachelor’s and graduate degrees, in addition to offering courses in continuing education and lifelong learning.

The university is located in Riyadh and has expanded its educational centers across the region in accordance with the university’s approved plan. It aims to obtain internal and external academic accreditations to help raise the quality of its graduates.

The university also offers higher education based on the best educational models based on e-learning applications and technologies and blended learning, which combines face-to-face education with technology-based learning. It also transfers and localizes pioneering knowledge in collaboration with universities, institutions, and faculty members both domestically and internationally. It also utilizes high-quality educational content from academically high-quality sources, localized to meet the needs of Saudi society. It also supports the mission and concept of lifelong learning for all members of Saudi society.
