Introduction

The National Institute of Technology, founded by Soran Mhammad Fatih in 2018, stands as a private, non-profit institution dedicated to the cultivation of a generation poised to contribute significantly to societal progress. The core mission of NIT is to impart comprehensive education and training across various disciplines, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their chosen fields. This commitment to excellence is underscored by the issuance of Official Order No. 2085 by the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on February 19, 2018, formally establishing the National Institute of Technology.

As an institution in a continual phase of development, NIT remains steadfast in its commitment to expansion, firmly rooted in the belief that educational opportunities should be accessible to all, irrespective of age or academic level. Up till present, NIT boasts an enrollment of thousands of students has evolved to encompass eight distinct departments.
