Nursing & Midwifery Development Centre (NMDC)

We are a charitable organization for the advancement of nursing and midwifery in the Middle East through continuing professional development activities, projects, research, advocacy, and advisory services. Our current base is in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

We would like to proudly announce that the construction of the new NMDC premises in Erbil has been completed. The building contains spaces for theoretical learning, clinical simulation, activities, events, and conferences, that will be used for the development of healthcare in the Kurdistan Region with a focus on nursing and midwifery. Outdoor spaces will be designed for the Emergency Preparedness and Response training and simulation exercises. We would like to express our deepest appreciation for the support of the LDS Charities and The Stirling Foundation, which are helping us to make this project a reality.
