The establishment of the Imam Al-Kadhim College (peace be upon him) for university Islamic sciences represented an important step on the way to creating cadres aware of the project that the Shiite Endowment Office believes in, the founding body of this promising scientific edifice. Despite the novelty of the experience, the launch of this college and its achievements during the previous stage was a station that should be stopped and studied carefully to evaluate its results.

In this regard, the Deanship of Imam Al-Kadhim College (peace be upon him) is seeking to prepare a detailed curriculum that represents a road map for the advancement of this distinguished academic edifice. The world today reflects the cultural vision based on tolerance and openness that the sponsor of this edifice believes in, the Shiite Endowment Office. In addition to developing and qualifying the teaching staff who represent the main nerve that nourishes knowledge in our dear college, and without any doubt, our dear students will have a privileged position in all the plans that the Deanship seeks to implement in their capacity as the nucleus on which all development projects are based. All these plans and ideas will not be at the level that we aspire to without providing the necessary infrastructure for their success, and at the forefront of those structures is the preparation of the regulations and instructions necessary to manage this college on legal bases that control the rhythm of administrative work to make the process of rotating positions and responsibilities more smoothly in order to reach an institution that is governed by Law and software. The issue of providing buildings and facilities affiliated with the college tops the priority list of programs that the Deanship seeks to implement. In light of all this, we seize the opportunity of the beginning of the new academic year to mobilize the determination of all cadres of teaching and administrative colleagues and our dear students to work in the spirit of a single, compact and harmonious team to develop the reality of our college and continue its achievements and consolidate its scientific level to be an example to follow and befitting the name it bears. The optimistic and confident march towards achieving all these goals will be the title of this new academic year, especially with the availability of all human and administrative capabilities and the existence of a clear vision to achieve them. Imam Al-Kadhim College (PBUH) for University Islamic Sciences, a governmental educational institution affiliated to the Shiite Endowment Office, and its headquarters is in Baghdad. It was established under the college law legislation by the Iraqi Council of Representatives No. (16) for the year 2009; To be a scientific edifice for the original Islamic thought represented and a starting point for the doctrine of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), according to which the college has become a moral personality and financial and administrative independence to achieve the goals for which it was established. The college has several branches in the following Iraqi governorates: (Maysan, Najaf, Dhi Qar, Babel, Wasit, Diyala, Diwaniyah, and Basra).

The college grants a bachelor’s degree for preliminary study and master’s and doctoral degrees for postgraduate studies in various Islamic, human and scientific sciences. The college is committed to the instructions of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
