City University Ajman, licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) in the UAE, provides a holistic educational environment that fosters scientific research, innovation, and personal development. With 21 academic programs across 7 colleges—including dentistry, technology, business, law, humanities, media, and education—the university boasts a diverse community of faculty and students from over 50 countries. This multicultural campus prepares students for the global job market through a comprehensive education and hands-on learning experience.

Under the inspiring leadership of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman and Member of the UAE Supreme Council, Ajman has aligned itself with UAE’s vision to build a generation of leaders and pioneers who aspire excellence, research, and innovation; this has allowed the Emirate of Ajman to transform to an educational hub. CUA is dedicated to academic excellence and to developing leaders across disciplines who make a positive contribution to their community. It equips youth with the knowledge and skills required for success in their personal and professional lives by providing a transformative educational experience where creativity, research, entrepreneurship, and innovation can be fostered. The vision of the City University Ajman is to become a distinguished, comprehensive university at the local, global, and international level. The provision of high-quality education is at the heart of this vision.
We seek academic excellence in all of our endeavors. Our major strength lies in a strong team of highly qualified faculty and dedicated administration to deliver high-quality education that is modern and interfaced with the job market. The latest technologies are employed for effective delivery and the curriculum emphasizes practice and implementation learning in its entire curriculum.
CUA holds a diverse student and faculty body, with over 50 nationalities represented on campus. We form alliances with highly reputed local and international organizations. We strive to incorporate a global perspective in all of our academic programs and activities to prepare our students for success in a rapidly changing global environment.
With a focus on excellence and leadership in education, we are committed to providing our students with a comprehensive learning environment that is forward-thinking, academically stimulating, and culturally enriching. There is a continued emphasis on enhancing student learning at CUA. Experiential learning, active learning, and integrated learning are some of the approaches that are taking students beyond the four walls of a classroom into a creative learning domain.
As a futuristic institution, we foster research and innovation at various levels. While faculty research is at the forefront of institutional priority, support for students has become an organic process.
