Established in 1995, BMS school, located in Bir Hassan on Airport Road in Beirut city, has been a cornerstone of academic excellence for 28 years. Over this period, we have evolved into a dynamic educational institution with a commitment to fostering holistic development and providing modern facilities.
The campus has facilities that contribute to a well-rounded educational experience for over than 700 students. These include 3 open playgrounds, an indoor basketball court, a computer and robotics lab equipped with 30 computers, 50 advanced robots and 15 tablets, a theater, a gymnastic hall, and a scientific laboratory. Additionally, a well-stocked library, includes over 7000 books and 6 computers. 42 computers are distributed among the administrative team, some classrooms, teachers’ lounges and coordinators offices.
As the BMS is committed to efficiency and collaboration, a fully equipped floor which is designed to streamline communication, coordination, and organization among our dedicated team of teachers.
Recognizing the importance of technology in education, we have invested in transforming most of classrooms into an interactive learning space. This initiative not only enhances the teaching-learning process but also ensures that our students are well-prepared for the future.
Our auditorium provides an ideal setting for events, presentations, and international exams as BMS is certified by collegeboard as an international exam center.

Demographics

The BMS educational community is composed of a highly qualified and diverse staff, including 80 teachers out of which 20% holding master’s degree or above, 5 administrative and an inclusion/support team that is currently providing 3.3% of our students, who experience learning difficulties.
Embracing diversity, BMS is home to a vibrant community of learners consisting of 734 students from various cultural backgrounds. A notable 6.13% of our student population is non-Lebanese students, contributing to a rich tapestry of perspectives within our classrooms.
Around 8.3% of our students are enrolled in high school, whereas the majority follows the Lebanese curriculum. This dual-curriculum approach allows us to cater to a wide range of academic interests and aspirations, ensuring a well-rounded education for all.

Beirut Modern School aims to enhance the intellectual capabilities of its students through logical and factual analysis and is committed to creating an educational and cultural environment based on mutual respect and social interdependence among the members of its community.
The staff and community place great value on quality education and have high expectations. All staff members are expected to have a growth mindset that focuses on student success. Additionally, the school prioritizes the values of integrity, civility, and lifelong learning.
As the mission supports the vision and vice versa, Beirut Modern School has adopted the motto “Tomorrow’s Leaders” that embodies the quote “Do What You Write and Write What You Do”.
