Al Baha University was established in 1437 AH (2006 AD) as a Saudi academic institution affiliated with the Ministry of Education
The University has enjoyed the care and support of our wise leadership, led by my master, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman – may God protect them – in addition to the care and follow-up the university has received from His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud, Governor of Al Baha Region, His Excellency the Minister of Education, and His Excellency the Deputy Minister for Universities, Research and Innovation, which has brought about a distinguished shift in its research, scientific, academic and societal journey on the map of universities in our beloved country
